Previously have worked with the reputed Marriott group of hotels in 'JW MARRIOT MUMBAI'.
Can you describe your cooking in 3 words ?
Cooking is all about creativity and the passion we hold for the same. Three words that best describes cooking are- Innovation, Art and Passion.
Who/What has been the biggest influence on you cooking ?
Have always been an ardent you tuber. I follow many well known food connosieurs for my learning. One of the many favourites is Chef Gordon Ramsay'. My favourites from the tricks he suggests is for the Meat Cooking and Presentation.
Why a chef ?
Since my childhood have always been very passionate about preparing food and curating existing dishes with a twist in flavours. And, that was well understood my my parents and myself, and here I am today pursuing my career as a Chef, in Grand Hyatt .
What do you cook yourself when you get home ?
My favourite dish has always been Hyderabadi Biryani. And, mostly when I am home, I love to treat myself to a delicious plate of the same cooked with the locally available ingredients.
What makes a great dish ?
I believe a great dish is the product of the right ingredients. Cooking styles may vary but, what makes any dish unique is the ingredients used in curating the dish.
What is your favourite music to cook to ?
I love tuning to Italian music, while cooking.
Who is at home ?
Tell us something we might not know about you.
One thing that my colleagues and my guests might not be aware about is that 'I am an athlete'.Since my school days have been active in sports and practised it during my college days too. Yes, currently i do take out time for a quick round of warm up.
What is your advice for budding chefs or even enthusiastic home cook
To all the budding Chefs, would like to share this message- ' Keep Working hard and always try and learn something new'.This shall definitely help in grooming your career better. It's all about our interests and if we try, 'Nothing is Impossible'
