Hotel is great. Nice clean rooms. Much better than most hotels here in Makkah. However the hotel charges you extra money for something called as 'Partial Haram View' which is nothing but seeing Dar Altawhid Intercontinental in front of you. I told the receptionist that you I was suppose to see Kaaba and that's what the photos on Booking. Com shows and I was told there is a difference in Haram view and Kaaba view which is only visible from Royal suites. Save your money by taking city view as there is nothing to see on Haram view. Check the pic that I have taken for Haram view.
unforgettable memories i stayed here for 10 days. that was two years ago everything here is perfect.. the location the holy masjid just two minutes walk.. the rooms very clean, breakfast superb..shopping restaurants. i love everything about jabal Omar Hyatt Regency.

Absolutely appalling service and a rip off. A TRIPLE room is the double with a really uncomfortable cot bed - they are making mugs of travellers on Hajj and Umrah. They are arrogant and unmoving insisting that is what we booked. Why would we pay for three (big) adult guys on umrah for a triple knowing we would be sleeping on a child bed?? They know at this point traveller's mindset is on their pilgrimage so no one will kick up a fuss. Best to avoid this hotel as they are obviously abusing their position...
