This is for sure the best hotel you can get in Stone Town, We enjoyed our stay greatly! The room was perfect and very tastefully decorated. From the bed linen to the the bath tub to the nice balcony to the attentive service, the breakfast and the infinity pool - nothing could have been better! So if you want to give yourself a treat - book this hotel. Of course it is quite expensive - but it also is worth it.

The Park Hyatt is a most delightful heritage hotel in the most incredible beachfront yet center of town location in Stone Town. Really the best location in town. This is without a doubt one of the most pleasant hotels I have stayed at. The infinity pool, the extensive beachfront seating, the delicious food, the gorgeous bars, the extremely comfortable rooms. Very good one also to book on Hyatt points you might have saved elsewhere. The only remark is that on both occasions I stayed here (2016 and 2017) they did not manage to get an airport transport properly booked. Nevertheless warmly recommended!
One of the best hotels in Africa and a credit to the Hyatt family. Great location on the beach in the old city. Our room was quiet and had a balcony and beautiful view. The GM Nicolas Cedros has a first class staff. Our every need was intended to instantly. Grace and Nicholas were so helpful throughout our stay. We arranged our tours through the hotel which were all great. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and we also enjoyed our dinner. We already want to return to this island paradise and gorgeous property.
I did not stay at this place in Zanzibar but it is reputed as being the best in Stonetown and the prices which are the highest hopefully bear testimony to this. From the outside, it looks impeccable but all the hotels along here though they have ocean view unfortunately do not have private beaches. In fact, the beach strip on this side of the island is very limited so it has to be shared with the locals for other services such as launching boats etc...
Great hotel!! Rooms are very nice! The staff urs very accommodating
