Tomahawk is a Rib Steak, with a long bone. First off we marinate it with our BBQ Sauce and add the thyme and rosemary. Feel free to add any other spices or herbs to your marinade.
Then we vacuum seal it and use sous vide cooking method, 60°C for 2 hours, to ensure the meat is cooked to the preferred doneness all over. Alternatively, if you have a meat thermometer you can also put it in the oven and reverse sear your steak.
After that, put it on the grill and finish off the steak to the preferred doneness (Well done, Medium, Medium Rare, etc). Add salt and pepper to taste.
Once it's ready we prepare to flambé the steak at our guests' table, with red label whiskey. Et Voila!
