The concept of eating in a high rise revolving restaurant is not new to me. But the rotation can be felt , and it’s different when it’s daytime compare to evening time. One thing for sure however , the food served in the buffet is really awesome. Loved the selections , particularly those in the Indian section . Just yummy. Also liked that we were all taken care of by the staff. I admire the professionalism. Hard calling their attention at first however. But this is definitely a highly recommended buffet experience.
We had only about 19 hours in Dubai on a stopover between Australia and the UK and wondered what would be the best use of our time, bearing in mind that we wanted to spend quite a lot of it asleep! We decided that a good way to see as much of Dubai as possible, given our severe time constraints, would be to have a meal at the Al Dawaar Revolving Restaurant at the top of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. We toyed with having lunch and e-mailed the restaurant to ask what time lunch finished. The staff were incredibly helpful - even offering to keep the buffet open longer than usual for our convenience! In the end we decided dinner was a better option given the times of our flights.
The place was amazing. The food was delicious. The views were spectacular. The ambiance was lovely. The service was delightful. Everything was worth the money. This is a totally unique and pleasant dine-in experience which one can have. Highly recommended, specially for occasions. I feel that there were very less options for vegetarians in main course.
A one of a kind revolving restaurant at the Hyatt in Dubai. Spectacular views of the Arabian sea, downtown and surrounding areas. Perfect for a special birthday or anniversary or just a good old brunch. Cuisine is varied - mostly Arabic, Indian and European cuisine buffet system. Desserts were divine. Service is good, can be improved. All in all a superb place! To get there, take the metro to Palm Deira station and then it's a 5 minute walk. Cross the roads safely as some structures are still under construction.

The view from the top is breath-taking. Imagine eating while the room revolves giving you a 360 view of the skyline of Dubai. The staff are always ready to assist whenever.
