My wife and I had lunch twice at Miyako. The food was good, and the service was great and fast. Our waitress was Sintya, friendly and pleasant. Our first lunch was grilled mackerel and spicy ramen with ground pork. I wish the ramen had bigger pieces of pork. The broth was good. Our second lunch was the sushi lunch special and udon noodles with tempura. The fish was fresh. For the tempura, it become too soggy in the soup broth. At the end of the meal, you are served a small plate of fresh fruit. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. Limited selection of fresh fish. Excellent selection of Saki and wine. We received a 20% discount since we were staying at the Hyatt Regency.
The Tori Karaage Set is served with a variety of delectable accompaniments, taking the experience to a whole new level. The set comes with a generous portion of fluffy, perfectly steamed Japanese rice, which served as an excellent base to enjoy the crispy chicken. The side dishes, such as sengiri cabbage salad, pickles and miso soup, were thoughtfully curated to complement the main dish. Each element worked harmoniously to create a complete an amazing dish!
