BOOK NOWThe Secret Garden, penned by Frances Brunet, is a classic English story. It follows Mary Lennox, a selfish 10-year-old who undergoes a remarkable transformation after losing her parents to an epidemic and moving to Yorkshire. Mary's discovery of the Secret Garden outside the manor leads to a profound change as she connects with nature, becoming kinder and more outgoing. This tale celebrates nature's impact on the human spirit, highlighting the importance of companionship and allowing children to be themselves. Aria, our restaurant, pays tribute to the secret garden. Nestled under a glass atrium roof, Aria is bathed in daylight and transforms into a romantic dining spot as twilight sets in with twinkling tree lights.
We came here for afternoon tea, to celebrate a special occasion. I had pre-booked to ensure the restaurant knew our diatory requirements. The staff were professional, welcoming and excellent with attention to detail. A stunning deep red, fresh floral centrepiece adorned the table, which was a truly thoughtful gesture. They also created a beautiful pink 'congratulations' platter with petite cakes. We had different types of teas including gluten free, pescetarian and meat. The ingredients were fresh, tasty and well presented. Three of us had champagne. The cost was £120 and worth every penny. l would certainly recommend the Aria to others. The ambience was also calming and very attractive.
We had lunch at Aria Restaurant many times during our stay at the Hyatt. The Hotel Lobby is stunning, atmosphere feels tranquil ,romantic decor with trees and plants, shelves with beautiful vases and a central water feature and a huge glass ceiling . The food is good and always well presented. The service is excellent, friendly and attentive staff. Perfect location for an afternoon tea
