Recently I Visited Eighty Eight Restaurant and great ambience, but food was average. it was different for me with service staff mayur and shaavi they was friendly and it was a nice experience. I'll visit soon with family thank you.
During our stay at Hyatt in Feb 2021, we dined multiple times from this restaurant (A la-carte and buffet both). So, I would like to share our experience. Pros: - Good Ambience - Staffs are courteous. - Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks or Dinner which we ordered, all are great in quality. Size of Roti portions are small so order accordingly. Cons: - Majority of times plates are having some dirt on it. I would have expected properly sanitized plates. - Few staffs are not up to the mark assigned to our table. Even basic instruction in the type or way we want our food were not fulfilled. I do not want to put their names here… As expected: Food is a bit costly. Starting from 2000 + taxes + service changes for two (without any beverages)
Had really bad experience. They didnt had much variety of food. 2 type of starters and buffet with basic salad. Seriously I didt like it
Worst place to visit.. Lunch buffet was pathetic.. Food was looking like stale.. We asked for fresh and other starters but the chef was least interested.. No options for starters only 2 I guess.. Daal chicken and rice.. That's all in your buffet.. I would never suggest someone to go there and waste money... Vinayak tried his best to please but.... I would suggest hyatt to close this if they can't run this as per customer satisfaction.
I had to opportunity to try the set buffet dinner at the restaurant during my short stay here for a friend’s wedding. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all and pretty empty for a Sunday night. The buffet had a very limited menu with only two non veg dishes - an appetiser (Amritsari fish) and a main course (butter chicken). The service was very poor for a 5 star hotel like Hyatt. We opted for the buffet. The gentlemen serving us never came back to ask for repeated portions of the starters. The Amritsari fish wasn’t good either. It was literally fish dipped in pakoda batter and fried. The main course though better than the appetiser was equally disappointing. The butter chicken lacked flavour and appeared to be what tasted like chicken in tomato purée. The soup too wasn’t great either. The breads we called for with the mains reached our tables 15-20min after we had called for them. The repeat portions of bread arrived almost 30min late. By then the senior folks in the family had already settled for dal rice given the never ending wait for the breads to reach our table. The desserts too were disappointing to the point that the pudding didn’t taste fresh. Things were no different for the vegetarian menu. Subz dhaniya wala was completely flavourless. The vegetable in sambal sauce was the main highlight. But when I went for a repeat serving, all that remained was just the sauce and no vegetables. No one present to ask for a refill or cater to any requests. Disappointed with the dinner I stuck to steam rice and dal for the night. To keep it short - it was a disaster of an experience. With such quality of food and service, I would object to paying any kind of service charge!! Definitely not something you’d come to expect at a brand like Hyatt. From the looks of it, it seems like the restaurant is running on limited staff due to the pandemic. But this is no reason for poor service and quality, we are still paying for what we’re being served and paying a service charge for a service that was far below standards. Makes no sense to me. About time you picked up your game, team Hyatt. Ambience : 3/5 Food: 1/5 Service: 1/5 Value for money: 1/5
