We loved the Beach House. Visited twice in our 4 days in Zanzibar. Best fish curry of our time in Tanzania and the paella, prawns and octopus were all excellent too. Service was great - swift (but not too swift) and very friendly. Fantastic spot for sundowners (albeit that many of the cocktails are too sweet) overlooking the ocean so good to book an early table and enjoy this before eating.

We ordered a Ceviche and a grilled octopus. The grilled octopus was good but the sauce was a bit oily. The Ceviche, on the other hand, was not ideal. It lacked acidity, which is key in any respectable Ceviche. Also, the choice of fish was not ideal, it was creamy and did not had a bite. The service was ok. We ordered a juice without sugar but it came with sugar. We informed the mistake and the waitress, after trying to convince us of keeping the sweet juice, then changed the juice and brought what we requested. The view and ambiance were very nice. They open at 12, not at 11am as said in the Google.
