Went there on Friday night for the jazz session and was blown away. The live music performers were great and the atmosphere of the place was so intimate and relaxing. Also the staff was very friendly and professional and the drinks spectacular. The bartenders especially were very attentive and their cocktails creations real art.
Super speakeasy style Whiskey bar. Great to taste those hard to find or expensive bottles you dream of. Service was wonderful, the bartender is helpful and knows a lot.
Hidden behind a bookcase screen and beautifully decorated. Atmospheric and intimate space that is thoughtfully decorated (inspired by whiskey making). I attended the pisco masterclass which was great fun. Well organised and informative. Generous tasters of four varieties of pisco ( I couldn’t finish them) and 4 pisco cocktails. The canapés were delicious.
Came for wine, whisky and live music. Great singer comfy chairs, very pleasant atmosphere. Left a very happy man. My only gripe is the Whisky list. How is a man meant to decide between 140 whiskies?? It was exquisite torture. Will definitely be back
The Great Scotland Yard hotel hidden secret.... On display in the bar you'll find several pieces of old whiskey and some few selection of the Japanese whiskey. While its a whiskey bar they do serve other drinks as well. The bar homage to their Scottish heritage are showcased a unique ceiling display of wishkey bottles stacked to resembles the Rolling hills of Scotland. It was not crowded when I came so it was perfect to have a normal conversation with your friends. Staff and service was perfect and what you expect from a 5 star hotel.
