On October 8th we can finally say: O’ZAPFT IS’! Few things capture Munich’s way of life and culture quite like beer. It brings together craftsmanship and good company, Bavarian Gemütlichkeit, and that special feeling of gathering around a table together. That’s why one thing was clear to us: Schwabing deserved a brewery of its own again. Not far from where Schwabing’s last brewery once stood, beer is being brewed again today — right here in the heart of the neighborhood. At Schwabinger Tor Bräu, we brew our own organic beers on site, bringing a piece of Munich’s beer culture back to Schwabing. Add Bavarian Wirtshaus cooking, a proper Brotzeit, and a place for everyone who likes to gather around the table — neighbors, friends, colleagues, and guests from around the world.
