Thanks to the helpful staff at Hyatt Place we were able to make our 20 hour layover in Zurich a memorable stay. They provided us with specific directions on how to get the train from the hotel, what stop to take it to to reach downtown Zurich and answered any other travel related questions we had. The next morning, Jerry helped sort out our breakfast as it was added the night before during check in but was not shown in the system. He insisted we start our breakfast and that everyone will be taken care of. 5 minutes later Jerry confirmed the breakfast was added at the discounted rate and that everything is taken care of. He was very kind to check in with us our meal. All 5 of the staff members we spoke to in the 15 hours we spent in Zurich were extremely helpful, polite and positive. I will come stay at Hyatt Place again and will recommend this specific location to other friends of mine who travel to Switzerland.
The food is way too good. The spaghetti is exactly like pasta from Italy/Rome. The beef is great with a side of salad, to keep it a little more healthy. Kid’s pasta is great, too, perfect amount of cheese. Service is pretty nice and friendly. Room could improve, though. Music could be less loud and lights could be brighter at dinnertime. Overall, though, everything is wonderful.
