Not a Hyatt as I'm used to... I've stayed at Hyatt Hotels in a lot of different cities but this one has to be the worst so far. - Masks should be worn but barely any guest does. The employees wear them, but they never call guests out to do so. - apparently a 24/7 desk, but on different evenings no one was answering the reception phone. Once we requested cutlery at around 11pm and we were told "if we can find some" as there was some big event at the hotel. Don't need to mention that no one ever called us back, and we never got the cutlery. - requested water in the evening and no one answered the phone, went downstairs to the reception, but they told me I should go to my room and call - when you use the shower, the water is brown for the first seconds - do. not. use. the. laundry. service. First a shirt was lost (at least it was found later) and then we got a stranger's underwear, ew! - almost impossible to get vegan/vegetarian options (I know Serbia is very meat-heavy, but we have arrived in 2021) Positive points: + Rooms are well-equipped + the Gym and swimming facility are amazing, the gym is really well-equipped (free weights) + great beds + employees are very friendly and helpful (when they answer the phone ;)) + breakfast and room service are great + rooms and especially the bathrooms are very spacious I don't think the Hotel deserves 5* but it is probably a good option when you don't want to stay in Belgrade for too long.
A simple review does not express how pleased we are to be the guests of the Hyatt Regency Belgrade! From it property to the amenities, it is a world class hotel. That said, the best part of the HR Belgrade experience is the people who work there! From the bellmen to the front desk all the way to the housekeeping staff, this is one of the friendliest, most professional places we’ve ever visited. As a Hyatt Globalist, we’ve been all over the world… and Belgrade stands out as one of the absolute best!
